Can someone please tell me why my hands look like they belong to a 90 year old woman in photos? (maybe I don''t want to know the answer to that...)

Here are the promised hand shots. Thank you again, Whiteflash!

three stone e-ring set in platinum. 1.17 G center with .36F on each side

with the estate wedding band I picked up on eBay. Do you think it works? I think it does, considering that I''m working with emerald cuts (always a challenge)

I must be stopped.

Your hand don''t look like a 90 yrs old woman hand in the picture. The stone looks delicious and huge on your hand. My next ring have to be a square stone - either emerald or asscher. I love your ring.

It's looks HUGE!!

It is just gorgeous!!

And I think the band looks just wonderful! Not much of a gap at all between the two rings actually (or so it looks!!)!

Congrats!!

And of course, you can keep those pics coming

I love the kitty picture, sketch. Is that your kitty? SO CUTE!

I''m actually okay with the idea of a gap because I love that old-world look (flushed rings didn''t come into fashion until around the 1950s, I think). I just like old-fashioned stuff.

thank you for the compliments, All. Smiles, Mary

And, oh-by-the-way, the lighting is what makes your hands look *different* than in real-life (take it from the daughter of a professional photographer who''s been in the business for 48 years), but yours don''t look "old" at all--it''s simply that they look different to you!

it works, and they look AWESOME!!!

Your ring is lovely -- a true classic beauty. Sometimes when I take pics of my hands, my fingers look fat and crooked. I have not figured that out either.

They look FANTASTIC! Thanks for posting these-- and your hands don''t look bad at all.

They are fabulous together! ENJOY them!

holy cow thats a beauty--refresh us on the specs--is your center 2 carats?

I WISH it were a 2 carat. he-he

Actually, the stones are:

Center: 1.17 G color VS1
Sides: .36 each, F color VS1

I just have a thin-ish fingers, so the stone looks bigger, I guess. These whiteflash photos will give you a better idea of the size.

Thank you, All, for celebrating with me!

Very nice. It looks very big on your hand. Love the sparkle!

Gorgeous ring, again! What size is your ring finger?

sorry--you posted the specs--when i saw the pictures i got that slightly drunk quality we diamond worshipper get and i lost all metal faculties for a few minutes.................

One word! Class! that is how I describe your ring!!

It looks gorgeous! I think I will wind up with a 3 stone emerald cut--I hope it looks as huge on my hand as it does on yours...but alas, I have a 6.5 finger...what is yours?

I love the band with it...I was reluctant to get a 3 stone b/c I didn''t know what I could pair with it, but seeing yours makes me realize that you really can mix and match successfully!

Best of luck!

I''m btw a size 5 and 5.25. But I have extremely long fingers -- I can NEVER find gloves.

(And my fiance says my arms are, "freakishly long." Isn''t that romantic?

SO classic and beautiful! I love it love it love it!!!

Hi Mary
Your ring looks stunning and the stones look huge on your hand. I just love the classically simple setting with the emerald cut diamonds. Don't you now wonder why on earth you agonized over the setting? It is perfect!

That ring is just beautiful.

Classic and perfectly proportioned. They did a greta job with the setting! And, it is so very becoming on your hand--your hand is lovely and elegant so the ring just looks tailor-made for it!

Yeah, that''s my kitty

And I too love the idea of a gap between the rings. Actually my e-ring has a very low head, which as a result will force me to have a gap. But like I told my jeweler, I don''t think that will bother me at all!!

Congrats again

Oh, and keep those pics coming, I can''t get enough...I think I''m falling for emerald cut diamonds...
