Congratulations! Your ring is beautiful...always love Leon''s beautiful finished products! After all that trauma you endured, I''m so glad that everything turned out perfectly in the end.
BTW, how long did it take Leon to finish your ring? Seems like it''s been forever since you told us about Leon''s no show and your accident...
My bf does have good taste, but I''m a little bratty and did basically steer him in the exact direction of what I wanted. He wanted my input all along the way, and he''s one of the rare guys who loved talking about the process and was open to any suggestions. Lucky me!
Come to think of it, he talked about diamonds almost more than I did through this whole thing.
I think Leon started the ring in Nov.; he was relieved when we told him we didn''t need it by Xmas or New Year''s. I will say, I didn''t tell him exactly what kind of pave I wanted. I trusted him to a certain degree. I just wanted a beautiful end product that would sit flush against my future wedding band, which he''ll also make. He had some samples in his studio, and I liked that pave, without trying to be too technical or concerned with what kind it was. It''s not channel set, but I also wanted something somewhat "sturdy"in the world of pave, not overly-delicate, because I intend to live with my rings. And as we all learned from my fall, I''m a clumsy, clumsy gal.
I''ll attach more pics this weekend when I can get some good ones. Those were taken last night at around 8 pm, so I''ll get some in sunlight.
