Halo Setting

I have a friend that is looking for an e-ring. She is really interested in halo settings but is concerned with how it will look with a stone that is less than 1 carat. I feel like a halo setting may bring it out more. Is that true? What are your thoughts, opinions, suggestions? Post any pictures as well if you have any. THANKS!

I actually prefer halos when paired with under 1 carat stones. I don't love halos on bigger stones because I like the center stone to be the thing that pops with a big honker. I think it will look great as long as she picks something delicate. IMO halos on small stones need to be appropriately sized or else the halo can look garish.

Ditto!! I think a halo on a less than one carat stone will be lovely and definitely make the stone look much bigger!

I also agree as I am in the process of buying one! I have bought a .55 diamond from Whiteflash and they are custom making the design that I chose.
