Hello,
I have been wanting a sapphire ring for a while, but upon searching have realized it is going to be a while until I can afford the quality of stone I want. In the meantime I saw a ring at bluenile with a low enough price I thought it could be a filler of sorts as I save for what I really want.

Of course once I received it the sapphire was dark inky black with only hints of blue. I have ordered a few things from them before and been happy with them so thought it was worth a shot. However, the setting is beautiful with bright side stones, and is the perfect proportion for my finger.
I was wondering if you thought it was a fair price to keep for the setting alone, if I eventually upgrade the center stone. I have looked but not found the exact setting at price scope vendors. It seems to be reasonable from my research at other vendors, but I’d like other people who “know” jewelry to weigh in if you don’t mind.
Thanks in advance
Lynn
