Hallmark Help Needed-D in a diamond shape?

Hi, looking for some help. Does this hallmark mean that the ring contains diamonds or something else? TIA

The closest maker's mark (I'm not even sure that's what this is) I could find in Lang's database was this one (image below), but it doesn't look 100% right.

There's an added dot *edited for clarity*, the letter is a bit thinner, and there's a bit more blank space above and below the letter. The rhombus (?) shape is also a bit more stretched out. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable than me has the answer!

Thanks for finding this for me! I don’t think there is a dot.

The ring looks Victorian but I think it has been resized so otder marks may have been lost.
