Hi there. I recently had a platinum wedding band resized by a local jeweler. He warned me that the “PT950” may not be preserved due to the resizing. Sure enough - it was in the way. He had to send the ring to another colleague bc he doesn’t resize platinum. So he couldn’t stamp - should I ask him to send it back to the colleague to stamp? I don’t plan on selling the band in the near future but what if I want to sell someday - wouldn’t this be a prob? And I mean sell to a private individual (not a jeweler). Thanks
