Half Moon Side Stones-Prices???

I am having my ring made because I cannot find the setting anywhere. I uploaded the picture. I have found a G color SI1 1.53 oval that is a great price and is absolutely beautiful. I know the half moon side stones are more about the cut than the carat weight. The ones in the pic are .60 total wt. I was thinking of about .50 total for my half moon side stones. I need to know the general cost of these side stones so that I don''t get taken by the jewelry store I am currently working with. Please help!!!

Hard to say since half moon side stones are harder to come by (for the general public at least). I would suggest getting a few quotes from various vendors and seeing if they are similar. That would be your best bet to know if you are paying a reasonable price. Be sure to get specific on the tcw of the half moons as well as a range in color clarity because these aspects can greatly change the price of small sidestones.
