Half carat AVR in David Klass platinum pendant

I just picked up this pendant and I'm so happy with it!

I had wanted a small AVR pendant set in a bezel with milgrain in platinum. I considered the Barbara with milgrain from Brian Gavin but given that I live near Los Angeles, I figured I would reach out to David Klass for a quote. His quote was a bit higher than BG but since I didn't have to ship the stone, it kind of evened out. David was a breeze to work with and he was super fast! He did a beautiful job with the pendant and the milgrain detail. I am looking forward to working with him again in the future.

ecf8503 - Awwww, thank you! At first I was considering AVRs just under .5 carat due to my budget but when I saw that this stone was part of the winter sale, I had to snatch it up!

Kalomeli, Ashleigh - I am so happy with the milgrain on this piece! It's delicate yet substantial enough to be seen from a good distance!

Luv2sparkle, pandabee - The setting does make it look so much bigger! There is a big difference from when it was unset.

Diamondseeker2006 - I really think David did a fantastic job! I prefer this back too, it's less rounded/flatter so I think it probably sits better.

Mom2boys - The chain is 16 inches.

I also read your concerns about it flipping. I've been wearing the pendant daily for the last few weeks and have not had a single incident of it flipping! I think the weight of the platinum weighs it down. I'm still loving it! Since you are also getting it in platinum, I think it'll be fine!
