My Seller''s express precondition to any cooperation on her part was the removal of the thread, so I requested it.

I will say that Andrey has been wonderful and patient.

And the the admin at DiamondBistro has been the same.

The necklace is at the appraiser again, getting formally written up, then on Monday it will be on it''s way back to Dover Jewels where it was originally purchased, along with the appraisal. Hopefully all will proceed smoothly from there. I will post again, hopefully after I have my refund, as an update for all of you who were so helpful, and supportive, and who gave me such great advice.

I can''t really say more, posh, but wanted to respond to you since you were kind enough to inquire.

DF... I would rather not go into at this time.

I tried to get the gecko to snuggle in the shoe. I was not successful. I lack photoshop skills.

Me too gecko... I lack PHOTOSHOP, so skills are way down the line.

Here's my attempt with MS Paint. I call it Pink Amoeba Strangling Dragon. My Dragon was more than happy to wear a shoe on it's head instead. LOL.

Looks like a pink Goiter. SNORT.

Isaku, I love my kitty AVs too. But my little fire breathing dragon, is well... more accurate to my moods recently. The kitties will be back, I promise.

I think I may need new contact lenses. I thought the pink shoe on the dragon was a pink toupee and the pink gecko was a paint spill arty pattern! Do you think I can convince DH that I need bigger diamonds because my eye sight is so bad I can''t see the ones I have?

I''m probably older than you are, but I put drugstore glasses (aka ''cheaters'') over my contact lenses to see this forum. Works wonders!

Got refund today. After Dover Jewelery refunded the seller. No comment on the seller except to say that I believe in karma. As for Dover and Diamond Bistro, they were both very accomodating.

Yeah, I'm keeping the shoe. I might ask T-gal for a favor and see if she'll change it seasonally. Orange for Fall, Red for Winter, Yellow for spring. LOL.

Treefrog, you know... it's actually been one of the easier parts of my week. It's been a challenging week though, so this was just background noise, I decided on Sunday that I wasn't going to let someone else's issues drive me batty, and that it just wasn't worth it. Hopefully my week will improve going forward.
