Gypsy -

Thanks for all of the photos - I am definitely going to show my fiance when he is in town this weekend!

I'm guessing all of these would be OK for august (or at least reasonably substitutable?)

RZ

PS Can't wait to meet you at the bay area GtG next w/e - you have been so helpful =)

Hi RZ! I'm really looking forward meeting you at the GTG next week too! You are more than welcome!

Yes, they are are reasonably sunstitutable at the least, but most are made up of flowers that are pretty readily available that time of year. In the last pic I posted, with the callas, the little blue clustered flowers should be substituted with delphinium or monkshood or something. And there are some purple tulips running around a couple of the arrangements. If they can't be found at time of the year, they can just be ommited without losing anything from those arrangements. Other than that, I tried to stick to rose, hydrangeas, orchids, dalias, gerbers, callas, mums, delphinium, lysianthus, stock, etc that are pretty easy to get a hold of in August.

Pretty white and green bouquet. I like the vibrancy of this shade of green for an August wedding.
This one is rightfull a spring bouquet. It has green and white parrot tulips and lily of the valley. Both would be expensive in August. The parrot tulips flat out might not be available but they could be ommited or substituted. But it's YOUR bouquet... so you can go for a few spurlges in a brides bouquet that you aren't having anywhere else. Lily of the valley ARE obtainable, just dear.

My bouquet for example will have flame or mango callas. Other than John's bout, those won't be seen anywhere else in my wedding. Too pricey.
