From my past GIA life I decided my priority would be: 1)Color 2)Cut 3)Clarity 4)Weight
1-3 really impact #4....#4 is useless without 1-3.

Would you believe the center stone is only 0.76ct?? LOL. Total weight 1.11ct.

This was the original ring where I got my inspiration. Then my custom jeweler exceed my wildest expectations! Oh yea...and we easily came within my fiance''s budget. Win-win situation!

I changed my center stone 2 days before my ring was scheduled to be completed! I can''t believe my jeweler didn''t kill me, but they''re total professionals. I''m so glad I changed the stone, because here is the 1st stone. I just wasn''t confident in the measurements so just went with my gut feeling.

The Costco ring is a size 7 with a .75ct center and same total weight 1.11 ct. The color is supposed to be H or higher, clarity VS2 or higher, however, stones <1.0ct do not come with a cert. So I decided to get it custom made for all the above reasons- definitely cannot resize a 7 to a 4.5 and I definitely am not ok with buying a stone without a cert!
