I was able to make a decent dent in my quest for pins this past weekend!

Interesting note about the Joan River's dog pin, the other ones we found on EBay have pink stones, this one has clear and it appears harder to find the one with clear stones.

The silver/sterling diamond shaped pin with the purple stone maybe from Scotland, because it depicts a thistle, the national symbol of Scotland. Does it have any marks on the back?
Love the reverse painted dog!
I see you didn't cut the stick pins apart yet.......

Thanks Stracci and I haven't head a chance to play with the stickpins yet, I've been helping my husband to find a new job, it's turned into a part time job for me lol!

So that pin with the purple stone, it is marked SILVER on the back and there is a symbol but we can't make it out, this is the best picture I could get. My husband picked out the dog so that is his favorite.

I did get a lot of them this past weekend but three of the stick pins were Etsy/Ruby Lane finds, they are hard to find locally!
