Grey blue spinel

Hello all!
I am new to this but have been lurking/admiring for some time. I have been looking for a grey spinel and came across these two and was wondering if I could get opinions. The first two photos are of a 2.23 ct spinel and the second is 3.55ct. They both have videos which are beautiful, but I think there is a small bow tie in the first and I worry about them turning dark outdoors? I would appreciate any thoughts!

Hmm. Well, may I ask how you want to set it, first?

I would likely set the smaller one in a stationary pendant (either bezel set or prong, haven't decided) and the larger one in a small haloed ring with diamonds, both in white gold.

I ask because there are some in sale at LT right now, including one in a white halo.

I find most stones get darker in direct sunlight

I agree the one has a bowtie. The other night have a tiny window? Hard to see.
