Has anyone here had an engagement ring designed by Green Lake Jewelers?

Their engraving looks beautiful. However, some of the pieces look a little bulky.

Are you talking about the Jeweler in Seattle? Are you local to there and can go in person?

If you do a search (just in case you haven''t yet

), probably lots of photos pop up!

If you do a search for Green Lake or Green Lake Jewelers on this site, you should find some threads with photos of custom designed rings by them. Their craftsmanship is superb, from what I''ve read on this forum. But, yes, I agree with you that their styling is "chunkier" rather than the more delicate styles currently favored.

Green Lake Jewelers in Seattle, right? One of our clients ordered and Infinity round brilliant ideal cut diamond from us and ordered the ring from them... He seemed quite happy.

I would love to see that ring. But, sigh, in all his excitement, he didn''t think to post any hand shots for PS

I''ve checked out their showroom a few times. Their engraving is absolutely top of the line- comparable to antique. They do some more modernistic, angular designs but they also have some purely delicate work. It pretty much depends on what you want. I think their designers tend towards the more modern/chunky approach when left to their own tastes, but if a client commissions a more delicate piece, they can do that and they had a number of pieces in their showroom that represented the more delicate style. The chunkier pieces really don''t look that bulky in person, really, either.

They don''t do claw prongs from what I''ve seen, however.
