If anyone is looking for Scott Kay or Tacori you should check it out. Most of them seem to be in this category:
http://overstock.com/?PAGE=CATLIST&PRO_SUB_CAT=889&PRO_SSUB_CAT=2836
The Tacoris shown aren''t my favorite. I don''t know if these are discontinued styles or what, but some of the Scott kays are really excellent!! And great discounts! And no, I don''t work for Overstock!

There are also a bunch of Tacori wedding bands that are not in that section....I wonder if any of our PS''ers have matching bands on there they could save on?

I''m not a huge Tacori fan but this is a really sweet setting, and for $1750 when retail is over $5k? Insane!

Most of these are older styles. Some good most not. Companies like this buy stock balancing pieces from some manufactures and from liquidators. Retailers needing to raise capital and those going out of business will usually sell to these types of companies. Good buys but no warranties. If something goes wrong, as in another thread, there is no recourse. Then they are not very good buys

Hi,
I noticed that these are set with CZ center stones. Is it hard to have the CZ removed and have Diamond set in its place? Would this ruin the settings look to do so?
Just curious.
Also, I ordered a plain gold band that was listed as only available in size 4 1/2 ( which is my size)
and the package took almost 2 weeks to arrivean when it did the the ring was a size 8! Then the hassle of return for wrong item but that is a whole ''nother story. What I thought was a good price turned out to be a big hassle and waist of my time.
So that was my overstock experience,
Joni

Joni

It is normally not a problem and the setting should be fine.

hmm, my mom is looking for a new setting... but she has tiny hands like me! Anyone have any idea about how much a baguette side stone setting could be sized down? and how do you know what size center stone would fit?

I''ve ordered 2 rings, a silver bracelet, and silver earrings from there on different occasions. Things came really fast and were exactly what I had ordered. My only complaints are that customer service is really lacking, and when I returned things it took a long time for me to get the refund (but to be fair, it did take within the window that they said it would, I think up to 30 days). But the price savings were great.

Thank you for answering my question about removing the CZ.that is good news.

Maybe I was just very unlucky in my wrong size shipped purchase .It was disappointing and a hassle that is still fresh in my mind and not yet fully resolved. I don''t mean to rain on any ones parade just heads up.

Here''s hoping others have better luck than I did.

Thanks for the comments Bill. Think it is a good thing to keep in mind, esp about the warranty.

My purchase experience from Overstock was fine. I also have a coworker that constantly buys stuff and usually doesnt have problems, although he will admit that the return process is a bit of a hassle.

ohh...I agree those Tacoris are probably my least favorites out of all their designs but that is cool they are offering them and I am sure fit many people''s taste. I do agree that it is such a comfort to know if a melee falls out or something happens, all I have to do is take it back to my friendly jeweler who will fix it. To me that may be worth paying retail.

I loved that wedding band you posted Scint...

I definitely agree that sometimes it's worth it to pay the retail price....BUT $1700 vs $5100? I'll replace the rare lost melee myself for that kind of savings!! Too bad I'm not in the market for a new setting.

Plus if you make nice with a local jeweler then maybe they don't make you pay for much when you have your ring serviced there.
