I purchased the below stone from diamond.com with a Tiffany style solitaire setting. I used the abazias link to the stone because the diamond.com link expired.

I was pleased with the entire process and the stone has turned out to be stunning! My now fiancee is thrilled with it. It was nerve racking not knowing if it would be an eye clean SI2, but when the diamond arrived it proved to be beautiful and the inclusion that makes it an SI2 is visible with only much scrutiny.
Using the pricescope search engine, there was a $500 price difference (even without the wire transfer discount) for the stone between many of the retailers who listed the stone. I went with diamond.com because of their liberal return policy. We had until January 31, 2006 for the return if it was unsatisfactory. I live in a small town and it took several days for the stone to be appraised. Having the extra time to assess the stone was worth the slight extra price paid to diamond.com, in my opinion.
It''s funny when I tell people who haven''t seen the ring that I got it from an online vendor. One of my friends joked that I got the ring from QVC. When those people see the ring, they''re literally shocked by how beautiful it is and how much it sparkles. Plus, it''s nice knowing that the price was $2,000 -$3,000 more at B&M stores for stones not nearly as nice.
One jeweler told me that the cost that I paid was less than what he thought his cost would be.
This has been an awesome website and I have learned so much. Whereas when I started looking for the ring six months ago, I never dreamt of buying online, now I wouldn''t hesitate to buy a certified stone from any of the reputable vendors on this site.
