Great-grand Aunt''s ruby ring

So, while so many of you are waiting for your fine things to come in, here are some pictures of a ring I have loved forever. I used to want it to be my e-ring, (but with a better stone). Like so many rings of the era, its ruby and rose gold, (none cut very well) with two bitty diamonds.

Very nice! I was eyeing a Jabel ring on ebay a little while ago that was similar-a central ruby with sprays of smaller rubies and diamonds around it. I love the vintage look.

Lots of retro charm there. My mom has a similar ring that was her a gift from her parents when she graduated from high school in...let''s see...1949, maybe. Do you know when your aunt''s is from?
