I have wanted a graduating five stone ring for a long time and was always drooling over the nice ones that were on various threads here.

So I decided to ask around to find a nice one within my budget. I was considering Whiteflash and IDJ since I have had good experience with both of them. Following advices from fellow PSers - thank you all (see my earlier thread: https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/graduating-5-stone-ring-need-input-on-size-vs-budget.225904/

I managed to increase my budget to avoid the dreaded DSS and IDJ really came in for me! They gave me their best pricing possible knowing how tight my budget was and really worked with me. Graduating stones mean custom route and IDJ definitely had the best pricing versus white flash. Whiteflash uses their ACAs melees and only the centre stone would have been AGS certified; IDJ uses PS standard stones. I figured that with the smaller size stones and on an anniversary ring, uncerted will be good enough. And as for the finished ring, it is exquisite and the stones sparkle

Specs: 0.15/0.24/0.39/0.24/0.15 on a trellis setting, F/G colour, eye clean. Size 4.5

IDJ = great customer satisfaction!! Thank you IDJ and especially to Shulamit who has been fantastic and patient with me!

Thank you! Yes IDJ really did it again

The stones are 0.15/0.24/0.39/0.24/0.15, which translates to about 3.2 mm/4 mm/4.7 mm/4 mm/3.2 mm. Perfect finger to finger coverage for a size 4.5.

That is so beautiful! I wish I had your tiny fingers!!! So jealous that you can make smaller stones look large! I can do the opposite
(make big stones look small  ...damn you size 7 fingers!)

BoubaFris, that ring is amazing! What was the cut quality of those stones from IDJ? I am having them quote me something similar in an 18K yellow setting.

LOVELY ring :appl: :appl:

Thanks for sharing the details. How does it feel on your hand? Do the prongs on the ends dig into the fingers on either side?
