GIA certified excellent cut/polish/symmetry

Worked with the great folks at Engagement Rings Direct (Dan) to pick out the stone, and had the stone mailed to a jeweler in New Orleans (tax savings!!!!) who created the setting.

Everything went smoothly, and the guys at ERD really seemed like they were trying to get me the best stone and not the most expensive one. I highly recommend.

Was able to get everything all-in for just under $14k.

Now I just need to figure out the engagement process.

Thanks for the education during the process, everyone. I didn''t post that much, but I read a lot.
