It took about 4 months, but I finally have an e-ring for my girlfriend. Now I just have to propose! I''ll save that for another post.

PriceScope was a HUGE help with this purchase. Four months ago I would have never though that I''d buy a ring from an online vendor, but I confidently bought this ring through James Allen. They were great to deal with. I wouldn''t hesitate do business with them again. They made the setting custom. It''s a Platinum four prong with 20 rb stones (0.72ctw) in a shared prong setting. The band is about 2.2mm wide.

Here''s some pictures of the finished ring and some details about the stone:

Sorry, I''m not the best photographer. If I get any better shots I''ll post them later.

Thanks again to everyone here on PS for their help.

Looks just gorgeous! Good luck with the proposal.

Oh my, it''s stunning!!! JA is a great vendor, I totally agree. Do you think you and your future FI will choose a matching band?

It''s beautiful! We purchased our stone from JA as well and have been very happy. I love your setting too. The stones are large enough to give some bling, but small enough to really bring your eyes to the center stone. Gorgeous, wonderful job! Be sure to show us handshots when she says yes.

Thanks everyone for your kind words.

I do think my fi-to-be will want to go with a maching eternity band(s). I took some hints from her a while back and I think that''s what she really wants. I like that look and hope she chooses a matching set. I''ll lleave that up to her though.

The e-ring setting is a 3/4 eternity. I wanted a little room in case she needs to have it resized at some point and also for the extra durability. I worry about those shared-prong stones on the very bottom of the band getting abused. I read many posts here about 1/2 vs. 3/4 vs. full eternity bands. The 3/4 option sounded like a good balance between durability and bling.

It''s gorgeous, she''ll love it!!!
