Did any of you know that in certain places the Google maps street view also has a walking tour of historic and popular tourist spots? Maybe all of you did and I am just behind the times. I just spent quite awhile touring Stirling Castle in Scotland. Did someone have to walk around with the spinning camera on their head like the Google car?
Pretty cool to be able to see in this way. I spend quite a bit of time on Google Earth even now after retiring.
To get the walking tours to come up you have to grab the little yellow guy and hover over the location you are looking at to see if the blue lines pop up. There are also blue dots that indicate a single 360 degree picture at that location.
