Good Value? Need Help!

As a retailer I may not comment on specific diamonds belonging to others.

Have you seen the diamond with YOUR eyes? If so, do you like it? Have you seen other fancy colored diamonds with YOUR eyes, If so, how does this one compare? Relatively minor differences in color, and quality of cut can make huge differences in appearance.

You will need to see several fancy yellow colored diamonds to know what you fancy.

I would keep looking.

There are a lot of canary cushions and halos out there in the world, and for that amount of money you should get something great, not something that's just ok.

Diamonds by Lauren and Leibish are fancy colored diamond specialists, you can browse there to get an idea of what you can expect to pay for something for those kind of specs.

Do you have a budget in mind?

I concur with @Wink, color is very hard to photograph well and very personal. I will not admit to the number of rubies I viewed and rejected until I found just the right shade for my sister. I would certainly reach out out the vendors suggested above. What stood out to me is that the setting...its really not deserving of the price based on the workmanship.

This is smaller, but I love its color. http://www.diamondsbylauren.com/index.php/jewelry/217ct-yellow-vs2-cushion-diamond-r8077 {DBL does a good job of photographing the range of colors you'll see...not just the most intense}
