Good Quality Stone?

I''ve read that some included stones will break upon resetting and i''m seriously concerned about this (after reading the ebay purchase post).

I''m looking at purchasing an SI1 stone - will be likely to break? What about an SI3 or I1?

Please advise.

I have not heard this issue mentioned with SI stones......I'd be curious to know if the pros thought SI stones were at risk---since I have an SI2!

I get the idea that there is a BIG gap between the SI and I graded stones.....am I right?

The GIA doesn't recognize SI-3 grade!
