Good Price?

I''ve never purchased a diamond before and was wondering if this is a good deal:
Round, 1.02ct, G, VS2, depth=62%, table=57%, girdle=medium,faceted, polish=excellent, symmetry=excellent according to a GIA report. The sarin report says the crown is 35.4 deg and pavillion is 40.7 deg. The culet is 0.5%. The price is $6500.

Not sure your source, but it does appear to be at the lower end of cost for competing well cut diamonds with the same attributes.

Though you might also consider this one, review the tutorial here, and possibly these general shopping suggestions, the diamond you''ve described sounds pretty good, from the bit I''ve picked up here, and you might just call it a day!
