good cut versus ideal cut examples (princess)?

does anyone have an example of good versus ideal in around a .80 - 1.0ct? I currently have a princess that is good, but am trying to ascertain how much difference I will see moving to a slightly larger but ideal cut stone. I know it should probably be obvious, but if anyone''s done a direct upgrade I would love to see them. I saw the upgrade forum here recently, but I didn''t see anything that particularly indicated the size & cut that I am looking at.

I would actually love to go to a cushion, but as my current setting holds a princess I''m not sure it will work. Does anyone know whether it''s easy enough/cost effective enough to have the head remade to accommodate a different shape stone? Mine is only 12 months old so it''s a complete waste of a lot of money to think about just losing it altogether. Alternatively, will a company like BGD reuse the gold weight I already have?

I put my cushion in my old princess setting. They had to change out the head because the new stone was larger but it looked just like the old head. I assume if they were around the same size that they would''ve just used the same head.

thanks S&G, that''s helpful to know. my head does have the "L" shaped corners, which I presume means it would have to be a square stone to fit. I did ask at the time of having it made whether it could accommodate a larger stone in the future, and of course they said "yes" but now having asked what size I can go up to they tell me it would most likely need to be remade. hence I am preparing myself for the need for a new head anyhow.
