Well, you can tell something like if the stone is too deep or too shallow or has to big table.Crown and pavilion data would help to narrow the choice. However, the best would be to examine the stone alive with an expert or compare many diamonds and select the prettiest.Checking the stone with independent appraiser is a good idea anyway since you will need appraisal for insurance.
