I have a gold charm bracelet with charms. It is yellow gold with all 14K and higher yellow gold charms. I have a charm that is sterling silver that I would like to add to my bracelet. Is it possible to have it gold plated (vermeil?). Because it is a charm it will get knocked around a bit by the other charms. Will the plating last? Will it chip off? I do not clean the bracelet or its charms and I wear it about 10 times a year only. Finally what would be a ball park cost of plating? The charm is about the size of a peanut M&M. Any input would be most appreciated. Thank you.
