gold bracelet--did I buy like an amateur?

I just purchased a NorvellMarcum bracelet. It''s an 8 inch, 14-k white gold, narrow link, with a toggle catch. It has a pave-set, 1/4 carat, dangling, diamond heart. The diamonds, he said, were G-I in color and SI-1 for clarity. The jeweler tells me this bracelet can be modified when the "tiffany" bracelet craze is over. He got me for $470. Did I pay WAY to much? Beginning to think so. Your thoughts?

I don't think so, unless the links are hollow, making the chain light. I saw one similar for $480.
