Regarding the size of the diamond, do you know her finger size? I have a size 7 ring finger, and I much prefer a larger stone to a whiter stone. The setting is lovely.

I agree wholeheartedly, phancynan... I believe the OP mentioned that he may be open to going to a lower color -- given the setting is in YG. I would go down to G/H at the very least -- probably I.
