Just got back from Long Island Wine country, woulda been perfect but no ring...

Going to Virginia Beach this weekend and it could be perfect as well but I am not holding my breath...

After that she goes to Miami with her girlfriends...

Be really upset if I get it next week and have to just have it sitting around the house waiting for her to get back.

Sorry, just needed to vent. Cant really talk to anyone I guess..

I feel your pain! I'm waiting on a pendant, due to arrive by the 3rd. I just hope Hurricane Earl doesn't mess it up!

I'm sure your GF is wondering what is going on too. Does she know about the e-ring or is this a total secret? All of these romantic weekends.....

Did you ever think about proposing with a CZ and then give her the real ring later? Maybe that's weird, I don't know. I remember feeling so disappointed when my now DH didn't propose because he didn't have the ring - it was maddening, in fact.

I think the wait will be worth it! Hang in there.

I have the diamond just waiting on the setting.

My gf has no idea that it's coming!!! A while back we went ring shopping and after two months of gentle poking from her, I told her that we werent allowed to speak about it until at least thanksgiving. I think she thinks it's going to happen on one of our snowboarding trips!

Tacori isnt setting the diamond so I considered getting a substitute setting to propose with but figured since I waited this long I could wait a little more. Well that was two weeks ago, now it's making me wanna explode, especially cuz I havent really said anything to anyone except my parents.

Oh no, that really does stink! I'm going to send positive thoughts your way that the ring arrives sometime this week...but if not, just hang in there, it should be arriving soon. I know how torturous it is to wait for something you want so badly.

I know waiting is hard, but you've waited for five weeks already and you probably have only a week or so to go. Hang in there and have the diamond set in the Tacori setting. I think it will definitely be worth the wait. In the meantime, you can always come here to commiserate. We've all been through the waiting game.

Your adrenaline will probably be so high in another week that you'll be able to lift a car!

Tacori usually takes 4-6 weeks . I'm waiting for my ring from them too but I'm only on week 1 LOL.
At least your GF isn't going through the painful wait. If you give it to her in a temporary setting, she's gonna end up waiting too! It'll be worth it when you do present it to her in a Tacori setting.

Please post pictures of the ring when you get it! We don't get enough Tacori pictures on here.

I am looking at OCTOBER 8th for the date my setting should be in. I don't know how I am going to do it. It is so hard to be patient. You know hoping I made the right choice. Looking here as seeing so many beautiful setting. Shaking my head at the amount I spent. You know how doubts can creep in when it is a long wait.

At least you know you are not alone.

i'm about 90% sure i made the right choice going with tacori, be 100% once i have it in hand and know it all came out okay. little worried that if anything goes wrong and it's got to go back i'll be back on the waiting game.

if i dont hear by tomorrow i'll ring my jeweler thursday to see if he can poke tacori. not sure how much info they actually can give though. last time he just asked me to be patient and said 4-6 weeks.

Looks like it's scheduled to be tearing close to Virginia on Friday. We're down there for the Virginia Beach Rock and Roll half marathon, if it's really a bad storm it will ruin many people's weekend not just ours.

We'll see!

Yeah, i am so exicted i just couldnt hold back from taking pictures.

It's funny how we got to this setting. I looked online for rings and found that I loved tacori, really liked how intricate the rings are. Of all the rings i trully fell in love with the HT2510. When the time came, we went to Michael C. Fina in nyc to look at their huge engagement ring inventory so that we could see different designers side by side. After 2 hours and about 50 rings, she picked two settings... the tacori HT2510 was one of them!!!! I didnt have to push, in fact, i dont think i said anything when the saleslady brought out tacori for her to try. So i think i knew it was fate!!
