Dust please for speedy recovery and managable pain! Will be in the hospital till Monday and either inpatient rehab or home after. I'm scared silly of the surgery but will be happy as a clam in about 4 weeks! It stinks getting older!

Good luck! Itll probably go perfectly. Just do EVERYTHING they tell you. My dad had both of his done, one on Halloween, the other right after Xmas. Don't push it, don't make plans to be doing anything big super early.

Hi,

I am not always happy with the medical profession, but i have learned that they are very good with pain management. Make sure you let them know if the pain is difficult to bear. I had a brken knew two yrs ago, and went to rehab. The pain was controlled. I hope you have a fast recovery.

ooh yes!! another big PLUS ONE to the pain management program - pain is your body's way of saying "STOP THAT RIGHT NOW!!" so listen to those messages and keep comfortable!

Sending you lots of healing dust!

Best of luck and lots of good wishes and dust coming your way! You will do great. :))

Sending lots of good luck and healing dust your way.. Hoping for a speedy recovery and not too much pain. Will be keeping you in my prayers. :wavey:

Hi AprilBaby -

Good luck and lots of dust. I had a knee replacement 10 years ago - and they have gotten so much better since then. They will have you walking hours (yes, hours) after the surgery. The most important thing you can do to maximize the results - physical therapy. At least three times a week in the therapist's office and do your exercises at home. It will hurt, at first. I managed the PT pain by arriving a half hour early and taking a small pain pill before the therapy. It helps.

I hope that it went well and you recover quickly April!

Hope it's all gone super smoothly April!

*dust!* *dust!* *dust!*

I hope it all goes smoothly and that your recovery is fast and pain-free!

thinking of you, how are you doing? xo

Prayers for you Aprilbaby! I have a couple of friends who have had new knees recently and they have all done well. I know you will too!
Many prayers for you!

Good luck Aprilbaby. We're rooting for you! :wavey:
