GOG Princess Custom Solitaire - Pics Just In

Hey all - thought I would drop my friends at a GOG happy thanksgiving message...ten minutes later...I get pictures of my custom setting that I have been waiting on!!! So excited. I received some excellent feedback when I was searching for my diamond - one of the few searching for the perfect princess - if I thought the hard part was done once I found the diamond I was soooooo wrong! Went through a couple of CADs and a few wax molds - left the final product up to fate after giving my final recommendations...and I love it! She is a simple girl who wants a solitaire, no bling (except for the little tike in the center). I wanted it to be personal so I went with a tapered design that comes all the way up to the head and an open cathedral view from the sides, with a u-bar going across. This is stage one...stage 2 is the hand engraver - sent out today - grapevines 3/4 of the way down and on 3 sides, with a milgrain border. I can't wait for the final and will share pics (if there are any princess lovers left here...). Proposing on December 19 and just needed a group to share with! Apologies for the horrible crop job - I had to remove the GOG logo per the PS policy...but they definitely deserve the credit here...especially Irene at GOG, she is the BEST!

That is a great solitaire!!! I love the profile, it reminds me of the Michael Bondanza I love, with the elements of the tiffany Lucinda. Couldn't get any better than that in my opinion!! Congratulations, can't wait to see it all engraved up. Love it! I'm sure your girl will be over the moon!
