Thanks, GOG team, Mark at ERD, Neatfreak for letting me copy her design for a mere price of posting the results, and the ENTIRE pricescope community for all their posts that enabled me to make an educated purchase!

Gorgeous! I love bezel settings in general, but I think that's the perfect setting for a square H&A - it emphasizes the shape so beautifully! Consider this another call for handshots. :rodent:

Hi slg47,

The fiancee started out wanting a square diamond because we agreed that we didn't feel like going round so originally, we actually looked at a lot of princess cuts. Serendipity brought me to pricescope while looking for settings and being a complete newbie, I was unaware of what a GOG diamond was when someone mentioned it in one of their posts. After chasing down that acronym, countless sleepless hours of videos, reading, and so on that followed resulted in me deciding that a square H&A or a jubilee was the choice instead of a princess. I appreciated the whole concept of symmetry in the cut -- brings it to near perfection. Then those GOG videos of the fire of a square H&A. Oh geez. :) Unless you see it in person or in a video, you just don't think of fire usually. Pictures just don't seem to capture it. I'm sure you know firsthand! Anyway, as some said, it looks a bit round but that can be compensated for with the proper setting. I've seen your setting and I think squares it off better than mine so kudos to you too!

Thanks to everyone for the kind words! Here are some handshots!

I totally agree with you :) I am glad to see more square H&As on pricescope!

Love love love it! It looks amazing on your hand. I love bezel settings like this and have been contemplating getting one for myself (rhr). The setting really complements your stunning diamond.
