GOG A Little Disappointed

HI All,
I've been off price scope for about a year since my daughter bought her engagement ring from GOG.
Long story short, I went with my daughter to look at the stone that her and her fiance were considering, and I was concerned about a feather in the diamond. It was an uncertified 1.0 carat marquise stone. The store was very busy, and I wanted Jonathan to get back to me. I was told he was on vacation and they would leave a message for him to call me back about my concern. Needless to say, he never got back to me, the kids bought the stone and are happy, but I would have felt better talking to Jonathan and perhaps getting a better quality stone. Everyone was very nice, but I just had to get this off my chest.
Every sale is important to the customer, and I'm sure this wasn't intentional, but I just had to release on it.

How long ago was this? Jonathan no longer works with customers.... he has the business "august vintage" now. You can find him on social media, august vintage on IG etc
 
This happened about 2 years ago. Still, I'm happy for Jonathan and wish him all the best.
 
Hi @babs23r - We are sorry we never got back to you. Being this was two years ago, we cannot recall at what point the message was dropped. However, please know we take this seriously as each customer is very important to us.

I'll say it- this is an odd thread to start two years after the fact about a stone that ultimately, the OPs daughter is happy about.
Have you considered that maybe he never got the message? Why didn't you just call him?

I agree that this was an odd time to bring it up, but it was simmering and feel better for venting.
 
I wrote in the 'other' thread that I bought my AVC from you and I would work with you and the staff again in a heartbeat. The vendors I have used from Pricescope are superior. I would love a 3.5 AVR ;-) .... regards.
