GOG 2.2 L OEC

Hi all. I have been looking for an antique cushion cut for a while now. I have a couple of smaller OECs and wanted something different. Then, I stumbled across this stone on GOG's website and have become obsessed with it I was thinking of possibly getting a setting that would give it a more square appearance.

That is a beautiful OEC and has a nice spread since it isn't too deep. You could definitely give it a cushion appearance by setting it in a cushion halo. I love rounds in cushion halos! But some antique style settings do have 4 prong heads with corners that can make a stone more squarish looking.

Thanks DS. I am the opposite of an expert on OECs, but this just appeals to my eyes. Plus, it is priced at just a little over 12K. I think it looks like it will be pretty white for an L, although I tend to have a soft spot for the warmer colors.
