Glass jewelry anyone? I dont have any glass fashion jewelry, but recently I came across pieces from an Etsy seller which are drop dead adorable. I can only imagine how fun it would be to wear these during seasonal celebrations! Check out those mushrooms on the Fall like necklace! I’m in love. Plus, one can tie in the colors of colored stone jewelry pieces with these. There are shaggy bracelets which would be so much fun with rings.

This thread is for glass pieces adored, inspiring and owned:)

I have some! I honeymooned in Venice and visited the island of Murono so of course I had to bring home some jewelry as a souvenir. Mine are a bit simpler.

First was this one, the glass is faceted which was pretty rare, the traditional glass is beads or more sculpted forms. I loved the color and design though so it came home with me. :P2 The shopkeeper was also the maker of it and she was really pleased that I loved it, I think it must have gotten overlooked a lot.

The other one is this graduated bead necklace. It's even better in person, each bead has tiny iridescent flecks in it that catch the light and make them glow. This brand also sells online: https://www.anticamurrina.com/en/

I bet you can guess my favorite color now, huh? I find the glass not difficult to wear; it needs a bit of babying like a strand of pearls does. Glass is so versatile, I would totally wear more glass jewelry.

I have several Murano glass rings, but this is my favorite. It's huge and I love it! There are gold flecks in it.
The blue tone is ethereal, and dreamy. The color dances in different light sources.

Gorgeous! Venice is sublime and so is the incredible glass work there! Love both of those necklaces. How awesome that you honeymooned there!
I used to live close to Luca and will never forget my trips to Venice for the Bienalle.

It’s bright and beautiful! So bold and mysterious too....Love dichroic glass....I had a glass artist friend give me a jewelry box made out of paneled dichroic glass. That kind of glass is just so amazingly gorgeous.:)

I'd love to see your jewelry box! There is a store in FL that we go to quite often that is just works from local glass artists. That is where I got my bracelets from. I go in and just drool at everything.

I’ll get the box pictured tonight.

I just realized that I do have some glass jewelry. This is such a fun piece...a large, super long glass pearl necklace. I actually have worn this a lot since it was gifted to me over the holidays.

Here is a picture of the little glass jewelry box which was gifted to me 20 years ago. Sorry about the dim early morning picture!

I LOVE glass jewelry and wanted to start a thread like this when the forum started, but then thought it probably wasn't up to "PS" standards :lol-2: so thank you for sharing your glsss beauties. Most of my glass pieces are necklaces, as I love bigger pieces and can't afford real..so my go to pieces are usually chains, pearls, colored scarves or GLASS :P2

Anyway, here are some of my go to pieces.

I love picking up Sent Sisters(Murano) pieces second hand. Here are a few.

For casual, I love this artisan chain of hollow glass tubestubes tinkles when I play with it
IMG_20190228_195302.jpg

My friend makes these gorgeous flower necklaces mixing glass, pearls, etc. (She taught me how but they take too much time)

Yes, I have a collecting problem and not just colored stones. Marie Kondo would need a whole season to cure my habits

Those glass flowers are stunning! I just love handmade glass beads. Antique Venetian glass beads have been on my Pinterest board for a while now, so beautiful! That Murano ring is gorgeous as well! One more thing on my wish list....

It is actually Lalique. I collected the chameleons as ornaments (there is 10 in different colours) and saw this done as a ring. I couldn’t afford to buy the ring at the time it was launched (like nearly $2,000 as it was limited edition piece) but years later I found a “new old stock” piece and snapped it up.

That is such a crazy cool piece! Do you wear it out and about? If so, I’m sure you get tons of comments/ compliments on it.

These photos are loading in a way which really washes out the colors...Here is a Masha Archer necklace which is newly acquired. The green beads are glass, the lavender, dyed agate and the blue ones are turquoise and lapis. This is not considered one of her larger pieces, more in the medium range :) looks bad with black, but great with grey lavender tops.
