Has there ever been a guy who has come in here thinking his gf may propose to him?? Hence it would be a Gentleman/Guy In Waiting. I''m sure it would be VERY rare if not at all, but I wondered.

I don''t remember one posting thinking that his g/f would propose. There''s been a few that have been waiting to propose to their g/f''s though.

I can't remember any threads where a guy was waiting for the girl to propose. I don't think guys who want to get engaged pronto actually do any waiting, they just propose! It's us ladies who do the waiting...

The one I remember that really stands out is one where this guy in Asia (India? Pakistan? I can't remember) was really struggling with making the decision whether or not to propose. I think they broke up in the end. The thread was heartbreaking. If only I could remember his username!!!

I cannot image a guy sitting around waiting for a woman to propose. Most men would be waiting a long long time!! Sort of reminds me of when my boyfriend asked me out for the first time and gave me his phone number but didn''t ask for mine. Silly boy sat around waiting for me to call for a week until he finally got a clue and tracked me down at work and apologized for being a schmuck and not getting my number so he could call me. Silly boy. But so adorable.
