I was hoping someone could explain the benefits/detriments of the different girdle sizes. For example, I bought a stone having thin-medium girdle according to GIA, slightly thin- medium according to independent appraisal, and medium according to vendor. The numbers indicate 1.4-1.7 as the thickness. Is this something I should worry about?
