on the report it says the Clarity Grage is: VS1

but then it says Characteristics it says this: Cloud, Crystal, Feather

is that bad? Most of the gia reports say cloud on it. even though the grades are vs1 or vs2

and does the date on the GIA report mean anything. it was Sept. 2005. Does that mean that mondera.com has had this diamond that long and nobody wanted it? thanks

mondera....has not had that diamond for that long. they work off of virtual lists. not like sept 2005 is that long ago anyway.

the particular characteristics of cloud, feather, crystal, etc are the particular types of imperfections that were found in the diamond. However, the fact that it''s a VS1 means that each of these imperfections as a whole are very minute in nature and are diffcult to find even under 10x magnification.

If it was an SI2 and only had one characteristic mentioned (say crystal for example) that woud be still worse because being an SI2 means that the crystal is more obvious and noticeable than of your charact. in the VS1 put together.
