I was looking at my GIA report for my new engagement ring and it looks kine of bare. The only percentage numbers are depth and table. Are there levels of gia reports?
may 1 2006. I am the original owner of the diamond. The report states that it is an emerald cut but the dimensions are 6.76 by 6.36 by 3.77 so it looks more squarish than like a traditional emerald. I seem to understand that b/c its not round there is no cut grade.
GIA only assigns a cut grade to modern round brilliant cuts. If you''ve got a ''Diamond Quality Report'', there''s more information around the drawing near the top right hand corner of the page. On the reports titled ''Diamond Dossier'', that''s all you get. You can also get a little more by entering the number and weight at reportcheck.gia.edu
