GIA Report - which ones are feathers

The L shaped mark is the feather, they are squiggly whereas a needle is a straight line.

They are being plotted to identify the clarity grade. They are a concern if they are near the edge of the girdle or open to the surface or large. If they are open to the surface they should be shown in green and red to denote an external as well as internal characteristic. They are usually only troublesome in grades below SI1.
