GIA says depth: 60.3, pavil 56

Sarin says depth: 60.2, pavil 56.9

I realize GIA rounds pavil, but wouldn't/shouldn't they round to 57?

Any thoughts? Could this be 2 different diamonds, i.e., someone pulling a fast one? (internet merchant... but a respected one)

The GIA does not post to the tenth, only to a whole number.
They don't round up and the diamond dealers have loobied,, I'd suppose, for the best possible outcomes. Besides, the Sarin does not do the job totally perfectly or repeatably. Sarin and Ogi are the best there is, but they are not perfect. Since the GIA knows this, they do not use the decimalized results hoping for some repeatable readings...

This does not mean that the stone is the right one or not. We cannot say by measurements alone.
