GIA Facetware?

I was playing on the GIA site and found that they have a beta Facetware version. Is it very similar to the cut grade Pricescope use most of the time? It looks like it is only good for round cut at this time, right?

no, it is how GIA assigned their cut grades for round only.

It isn''t like the HCA, what that tool does is give you an idea of the cut grade GIA would assign to a diamond and yes it only works for rounds.

I wonder how that tool performs compare to HCA in picking the great cut?

Same as how GIA Ex cut grade stones allows for steep pavilion angle stone. It is just a software that shows how GIA will grade a stone of a particular proportion.

It really doesn''t compare Zhu, that program indicates the cut grade a stone could get using GIA parameters, the HCA is a rejection tool.
