GIA Adds Hanadama Quality Range Comment

GIA is adding a report comment for the historical trade term 'Hanadama' to distinguish a designated quality range of cultured Akoya pearls.

Too many people I trust have said PSL's standards have gone to the wind the past few years...

GIA, between the reports they introduced couple years ago at much more palatable pricepoints, and now this new willingness to adopt traditional nomenclature - GIA is looking more and more appealing! They're certainly the kings of gemstone grading globalization and standardization...

This is great news for us consumers IMO!!
