GHI Certification?

Has anyone ever heard of a GHI certification? We are looking at a dealer in the New York Diamond district and he said he had a GHI certificate on his diamond....I can't find any information on the web on what this means?

He may have mis-spoken and meant to say "GIA".

GHI is 'Group Health Insurance' and have their offices
in lower Manhattan, New York City.

I thought of that too and am hoping he was mistaken...however, he typed it in an email so was a little wary that it wasn't a mistake!

It may not be a typo. I could not find a GHI lab either, but I did find this:

The stone is listed as being graded by the "GHI Laboratory."

Never heard of them either.
