Hey,

I bought my diamond from a wholesaler and am getting it set by a authorized Tacori jeweler. When I drop the diamond off is there anything I will be asked to sign? How can I ensure the jeweler is responsible or covered by his insurance in case something happens to the diamond while he is setting it?

Should I ensure the loose diamond before hand or after it has been set on the ring?

Thanks,

K

***Yes! And then update once its finished.

*** He''s not. You can always ask, but the standard is not to accept any liability when its not their diamond.

Are you getting a tacori setting and having the jeweler set it? I would advise against doing that if it is a Tacori setting but let me know.

I am buying the ring off the authorized Tacori retailer and brining them my diamond. They took the measurements of the ring and everything when they ordered the ring. They will set the stone for me.

Does anyone know who insures rings in Canada?
