German Carved Coral Necklace? Need help identifying

I received this necklace in a bag of broken jewelry at an estate sale. A friend suggested it might be red coral, so I tested it with vinegar and it did bubble on the surface but Im pretty unfamiliar with coral and unsure if it’s real. The beads have a texture to them and I don’t see any seam lines. Also on the clasp it appears to say “Germany” and then something else which I can’t decipher. Just wanted to find out about this piece if anyone can share their knowledge I would appreciate it!
