Gene's newest stones (precision gem)

I am the buyer of the Rhodolite Garnet from Gene’s drop two weekends ago. It’s really a beautifully cut stone with a lovely high crown; however, it does appear to have more purple than was expected per the description for it to my eyes, thought not quite as much as my camera seems to capture. I considered sending it back, as I was really looking for/expecting a good, crimson red color, but my daughter convinced me to hang onto it, as she loves it and said she wanted it if I didn’t, so it’s in my safe for the time being. But I wanted to be a good PSer and share pics, so HYG!

Me too! It can be so hard to gauge what something really looks like from vendor photos and it’s nice to see that real life version.

My spinel came in and it’s beautiful! It looks more pink than I was expecting but it’s a gorgeous color nonetheless.
I’m actually spending it back but only because it’s the same color as a larger mahenge I already own. So, if you were interested in owning this beauty, you have a second chance. Send an email over to Gene.

Everyone else beat me to it already...by the time I looked, they were all sold. My inner gem hoarder feels like , but my wiser financially responsible self feels .

All the garnets are gorgeous, but my favorites are the Merelani mint green and the pyrope garnets.

They went so fast yesterday! Even faster than usual imo. They were all pretty affordable gems so that probably had a lot to do with it. Sorry you missed out but I bet your bank account is doing a happy dance. Lol

I tried for the mint garnet. Last year I got a tsav from Gene that I freaking love so when I saw that mint I was all over it. Fingers crossed.

WOW! I was never really into yellow stones but that Montanta sapphire Like the sun in your hands! I wish I got to it first!!!!

I was thinking the same thing. I only have one yellow stone and no real desire to add to that, but that particular shade is just glorious.
