I have been reading through the archives, there seems to be a pretty low opinion of Gamscan reports in comparison with GIA AGS etc... it seems that one of the big issues that most people have is that the report doesn''t give any hard stats... thus making it next to impossible to compare it against accepted measurments etc.
They advertize on their site "Utilizing Canada''s only SARIN diamond imaging technology" so this would seem to indicate that you can get a SARIN report from them on your rock (I am sure at an additional $$) which would give you the stats to compare the stone with the others of similar ranking on a percentage by percentage, angle by angle basis.
please confirm my logic, if this is the case, with the sarin, can''t you then confirm that a gemscan cert stone ranks the same as a GIA or AGS of the same stats? or rather see if it doesn''t rank the same?
