Gem Print

Does anyone have a Gem Print of their diamond? Does anyone know where to get it done in New York? Is it worth doing? Or is it better to get it laser inscribed? Is it easy enough to read? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have one laser inscribed diamond & it is plenty easy to read under the microscope.

Many insurers give 10% discounts for gemprinting (here's a list of the discounts).

The cost of the Gemprint would be paid by one or two years of premium savings making it a no-brainer if you're in that situation.

GCAL in NYC does this: http://www.gemfacts.com/ - they're part of the same company that owns the technology. You'll get a GCAL grading report with it which will help confirm color and clarity. Which for me at least has more value than the gemprint. GCAL is a well regarded lab by the way.
